Position Description
The Technical manager will Lead, motivate, mentor, and develop the International Distribution organization to successful growth via product training and troubleshooting. Champion the training process for product installations and service as well as proper product applications. The Technical manager will also support sales leaders with ongoing field support of training and developing new distributors across Latin America
 
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on, highly motivated person who has excellent analytical and presentation skills with excellent ability to access and influence key decision makers in organizations in Latin America
 
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
  • Training and Technical Support of Automatic Door Products for Distributors.
  • Assist Distribution in Training of Product to ensure proper use and applications of automatic door products.
  • Assist distributors in take off training to ensure proper product take off’s from drawings and specifications.
  • Assist Distribution in Specification clarifications with owners, architects and other potential customers.
  • Promote all business groups across distribution, OEM & General Contractor customers in the marketplace.
  • Support New Business Development.
  • Manage budgets and financial targets.
  • Work closely and cooperatively with Distribution Team, Engineering, Product Development and Marketing Departments.
  • Participate with Technical Services and Product Information in the development and implementation of product demonstration, training programs, printed materials and other projects.
  • Conduct follow-up service calls with accounts to ensure satisfaction with all agreements reached during sales approach.
  • Maintain current technical product-related knowledge and general sales techniques and trends. Prepare summaries of important trends for management use.
  • Perform other assignments in support of distribution sales as requested by Director of Distribution & CEO.

  • Bilingual (English, Spanish) Portuguese a plus
  • 3-5 Years of experience in similar position within the Industry
