This is an opportunity to join our fast growing Latin America division in the role of Senior Client Partner in Panama. Our business is growing rapidly and we are now seeking self-motivated business-oriented consultant with an entrepreneurial spirit who is interested in challenging and fast-paced international environment. The ideal candidate will develop the Panamanian/Dominican Republic Market by developing new and existing relationships with the world’s most respected organizations to offer executive search and talent management services.
 
This role is ideal for an experienced individual can utilize the resources of a global organization while working independently.

Based in: Panama City, Panama or Dominican Republic
 
 
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Identifying new business opportunities and developing client relationships on a global basis with a strong focus in Latin America.
  • Promote TRANSEARCH’s services to clients by determining and implementing appropriate marketing techniques for industry and region, including regular visits to current clients.
  • Conferring with leaders to identify personnel needs, workforce planning strategies, and search assignments.
  • Prep and debrief clients; provide coaching and advice to the client through the interview process, to include counter-offers.
  • Conduct follow-up activities with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery by candidate of expected services.
  • Work closely with the research associate in efforts related to candidate activities including quality assurance, candidate follow-up, candidate retention and extension, lead generation, re-marketing, and assignment end.
  • Negotiate with client to establish appropriate bill rates, contract terms, and fees for incoming job orders.
  • Develop a network of candidates (expatriates and locals) and managing their aspirations and career search.
  • Conduct interviews with final candidates utilizing TRANSEARCH proprietary model.
  • Lead client engagements that align Talent Management objectives with corporate goals and provide positive operational outcomes
  • Overseeing effective intake/strategy meetings, innovative search strategies, interview techniques, closing techniques, and client management techniques.
  • Executing change management plans with employees, Human Resources, and hiring managers
  • Partner with functional leaders (Director, Recruiting Technology Manager, Recruiting Operations Manager and Business Analyst) to understand their objectives, anticipate their needs, and provide insight and guidance on staffing plans and strategies to recruit key candidates, drive team effectiveness, and continual improvement on recruitment process design, technology, and recruitment marketing
  • Maintaining effective customer relationship management mechanisms including bi-weekly HR client meetings, responding to customer feedback escalations, etc.
  • Conducting bi-annual client visits to key clients. Visits to other TRANSEARCH facilities may be required as necessary.
  • Work with clients in workshop and interview settings to identify Talent Management processes that can be enhanced through our services.
  • Lead executive workshops to articulate the value of proposed Talent Management investments to client organizations for achieving related milestone
  • Understand defined market attributes to assist in developing recruiting strategies for long term and sustained growth by:
    • Building and maintaining sourcing team resources for projects and difficult-to-fill positions
    • Developing and executing diversity candidate sourcing
    • Managing and meeting quarterly proactive recruiting forecasts
    • Researching demographics and other relevant data to identify sourcing targets that match hiring profile; may include national, regional, or local focus
 
Education & Experience
 
Education:
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field.
Experience Details:
 
  • 7-10 years experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, and Talent Management/Organizational Development
  • Past experience in Human Resources, recruiting/selection and knowledge of current recruiting trends including internet recruiting is desired.
  • Previous experience in a consulting firm is a plus. Experience with a premier consulting firm driving “C” level engagements a plus.
  • Previous experience in managing of a fully integrated P&L in either a standalone company, a large division or practice a plus.
 
 
Technical Skills / Requirements:
 
  • Fully Bi-lingual English/Spanish, a good command of Portuguese is also desirable
  • Understanding of resourcing technology: ATS, web 2.0, on-line assessments, etc.
  • Microsoft Works Package. 
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively manage a team and communicate with senior leadership.
  • Strong business skills with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint to provide regular communication & reports, prepare & deliver presentations and analyze data.
  • Strong strategic and analytical abilities to propose and implement solutions for continual improvement.
  • Clear understanding of business and HR strategy within the role’s scope.
  • Understanding of the use and applications of people planning processes and impacts on workforce planning, sourcing, and recruiting processes.
  • Good knowledge of resourcing best practices - TRANSEARCH and external - with focus in proactive sourcing, employer branding and KPI's.
  • General knowledge of other HR processes, with emphasis on workforce planning, talent development, organizational design and compensations.
  • Local regulations that may affect resourcing practices and procedures.
  • Understanding of resourcing technology: ATS, web 2.0, on-line assessments, etc.
  • Good knowledge of recruiting assessment tools and tests.
  • Good knowledge of internal/external networking channels relevant to the job.
  • In-house corporate recruiting experience from a large, matrixed organization.
  • Agency/search experience (preferred)
